Covid-19 infections totaled 1,051 across Aichi Prefecture Monday amounting to 83 more than the cases reported in the Tokyo Metropolitan area. Nagoya City accounted for 495 of the new infections.
For the good news, the COVID-19 infection rate appears to be slowing from last month’s record highs with yesterday’s figure being less than half of the spike of 1,139 reported on August 27.
