Heat Up Outdoors in Sakae with a Bowl of Ramen at the Nagoya Ramen Matsuri Jan. 4 ~ Feb. 12

Festival returns after three years of COVID-19 restrictions

Beat the cold while enjoying some award winning hot ramen noodles in central Sakae this month at the Nagoya Ramen Matsuri. It is being held over the next three weeks until Feb. 12 at the Hisaya Odori Park’s Edion Hisaya Plaza in front of Matsusakaya Department Store.

Clam-based broth ramen with pork and nori

Prices are fixed at 950 per bowl at all food trucks and toppings are 50 yen to 200 yen per selection. Each week the vendors change brining award winning ramen flavors from seafood, clams, beef, and traditional beef from vendors all over Japan. The vending machines are only in Japanese. Access: By Train – Use the Subway Meijo Line and exit at Yaba-cho Station’s Exit 6. The park is on your right. By car, use the Angel Park Parking Lot underground parking
