Regular services begin from Jan. 4
Both Chikusa and Nakamura Ward offices move to new locations from Jan. 4 and will handle all usual ward office services such as foreign resident card registration, My Number registration, health and pension payments, and resident taxes.
The new Nakamura Ward Office which includes car parking, is located at Matsubara-cho 1-15-1, and is only one minute away from Honjin Station. Use the Higashimaya Line’s Honjin Station and use Exit 3. Walk straight until the first intersection then turn right.

The temporary Chikusa Ward Office is a two-story building quite far from its original Ikeshita Station location, and is adjacent to the Chikusa Sports Center near Higashiyama Zoo. On the plus side, free parking is available for those who drive to the new ward office. To access the Chikusa Ward Station by train, use the Higashiyama Line to get to Higashiyama Koen Station. Use Exit 2 and turn left when exiting at the street. Walk eastward to the first traffic light. Cross the street and turn left. The new temporary offices are 200 meters on the right.
