2Howa Sports Land – lessons available
Howa Sports Land is located near Nagoya Port and is 200 meters west of Minato-kuyakusho Station’s Exit 2. Howa’s rink is slightly larger than Nagoya Sports Center’s rink at 60 meters by 30 meters. Howa is also a little cheaper for kids 3 years old up to junior high school at 800 yen. The entry fee for high school students and adults is 1,400 yen. There is a 300 yen fee to sit in the rink side seats. The rental shop rents skates for 400 yen in figure style ice skates 15 cm to 31 cm and 2-blade bob skates 15 cm to 18 cm. The rink is open Monday through Thursday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays 12 P.M. to 5 p.m., and Sundays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
