Nagoya-based ramen shop chain Sugakiya is holding a half-price sale on most menu choices March 4, 5, 11 and 12 at all its shops across Japan. Sugakiya’s iconic standard pork broth ramen is on sale for 180 yen. Sets with an ice cream desert are on sale for 300 yen and up.
240 shops are hosting the sale menu this weekend while other shops will host the sale the following week. Hungry customers should keep an eye on the campaign’s website for details.
The sale comes ahead of price increases announced by Sugakico Inc. which will take effect from Mar. 14. Prices on all menu items will increase by eight to ten percent which the company blames on price increases on sourced ingredients.
