Children in their last year of elementary school and under can eat three “yellow” plates a day and everyday from June 15 to June 26th in Sushiro restaurants all over Japan according the campaign materials and news releases from Sushiro. And, they can eat three plates for free everyday during the campaign.

Yellow plates are listed as 110 yen and usually contain 2 pieces of the same sushi. During this campaign the conveyor belt sushi giant created special menus for its yellow plates lets kids or paying older people to have two different types of sushi on the plate, such as salmon and shrimp and egg and tuna.

Sushiro is owned by the Osaka-based Food & Life Companies, and this is the third phase of a campaign celebrating the company’s founding in June, 1984. There are 49 Sushiro restaurants in Aichi Prefecture and 13 are in Nagoya. The campaign of three free yellow plates for children in elementary school or younger only applies to people dining in the restaurants, and it does not apply to takeout or SushiroToGo shops.
