The Aichi Prefecture government ordered a high school in the Owari District Thursday to close after its fourth period and Friday to allow for disinfection after students tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.
This marks the 51st school temporarily closed by the prefecture because of COVID-19 infections since the beginning of 2022.
