There was a two-car collision on Saturday morning in the Yabacho intersection on Wakamiya Dori resulting in one car flipping over, according to numerous media reports.
A man in his 40s was taken to the hospital and was reported to be conscious and not seriously injured according to the fire department which responded to calls from the scene at 9:34 a.m.
The car blocked traffic on the busy road until it was removed at 12:30 p.m. when an appropriate tow truck arrived. Police are investigating the crash.
