Nagoya Sports Center hosts an international standard size rink of 56 meters by 26 meters. It is located very close to OsuKannon Station and its rink is on the second floor of the building. The sports center rents skates for 400 yen and carries three types of ice skates: ice hockey skates 21 cm to 28 cm, figure style ice skates 16 cm to 30 cm and bob skates for youngsters. Best to dress warmly as the center keeps the temperature at about 3 degrees during the winter. Rink fees are 800 yen for kids up to elementary school age, 1,200 yen for junior and senior high school students, and 1,400 for adults. They are open weekdays noon to 6 p.m. and weekdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
