24 trucks and cars collided with each other in a pileup collision on National Route 41 in Komaki at 8:45 a.m. today leaving one driver with serious injuries and at least 10 others with minor injuries at area hospitals, according to multiple news sources.
The collision occurred in all three northbound lanes about 2 kilometers north of Nagoya Airport in the northbound lane and ended with a large truck rear-ending a light passenger car. The collision caused a massive traffic jam in the northbound lanes of Route 41 delaying car and bus travelers from Nagoya City to the airport.
